The field situated at the end of Washbourne Road and Chandlers Road and enclosed by Coppice Road has become known as Washbourne Fields in recent years. Previously this area of Whitnash was named South Farm, but the name has fallen into disuse.

Whitnash Town Council owns the fields and play equipment in use here.

Increased security measures were put into place following the traveller incursion around Easter 2017, with new security gate at the entrance from Coppice Road, and metal posts at Washbourne Road and Chandlers Road entrances. Further measures and enhancements will be put into place in due course.

We have invested over £100,000 in new play equipment which was officially opened on 1st November 2017. The new play equipment features an enclosed area with play equipment for younger children and a swing suitable for disabled children.
